Wow - a negative 89k for December.  Even with the holidays.  That is some scary s&*^.  Now one is even talking about the participation rate in the MSM.  If it wasn't for a massive downward revision in the participation rate we would already be close to 11%.  Green shoots rock on!

What is going to happen when the FED pulls the plug on all of the quantitative easing?  Do we really think employment is going to improve when the hot money comes out of the markets?

The emergency unemployment roles are surging to new records every month also.  It seems like we will be in this mess for quite some time.  I don't see the next industry that will be able to pull us out.  Housing is dead, so where does the next bubble come from?  Green energy maybe?

I think the next bubble is already here in treasuries.  This one is going to be a doozy when it blows.  We should get a taste of it when Greece goes up in smoke over the next few weeks.

It would have been so much better if we just took our medicine after the tech bubble.  But no, bubbles Greenspan had a plan!  Nice work Alan.  It is comicale how he comes out now trying to defend his idiotic decision making.
